Dispatch...

At the age of eight I took a trip to a local amusement park with my daycare, at the time. Little did I know, my life would change forever that day...

The first ride we approached was the Cyclone, a wooden coaster, and a copy of the famous ride located at Coney Island in Brooklyn.  From the beginning, an anxiety and fear began to build within me.  The screams of riders, creaking of lumber, and smell of grease and oil filled my mind with utter distress.

As the train crested the top of the slow and rickety lift hill, we paused briefly before Isaac Newton assumed control.  We careened down the never ending drop, were flung from side to side abruptly, and lifted off our seats repeatedly.  The only thing I remember was an exhilaration, the likes of which I had never felt before.

Upon leaving the ride, a sense of wonderment and curiosity consumed my body and mind.  I had to know everything about these magnificently terrifying and exhilarating machines.

Today, more than two decades later, I design roller coasters worldwide.  The Roller Coaster Project was my way to become noticed by the industry I had hoped to join so many years prior.  This website, along with the YouTube channel and social media sites serve as an homage to that mid summer day when I first embarked on a ride that would perpetuate my life with the necessary momentum.

The Roller Coaster Project is the designing, fabrication, and realization of real working roller coasters.  I hope you enjoy the ride, I know I have.
